Data Privacy Settings​

  • We take your privacy seriously. We understand that the financial data you share with Hiro is deeply personal.
  • Learn about how we protect your data and manage your settings by navigating to Settings > Privacy in the Hiro web app.

Net Worth Hiding​

Hide your net worth amounts while keeping percentage changes visible.

How to Use​

  • Click directly on your net worth amount on the Net Worth page to toggle between showing and hiding dollar amounts

What Gets Hidden​

  • Your current net worth balance
  • Dollar amounts in change indicators
  • Specific account balances in net worth breakdowns

What Stays Visible​

  • Percentage changes (e.g., "+2.3% this month")
  • Account names and categories
  • Chart trends and patterns

Demo Mode (iOS Only)​

Completely mask all financial amounts throughout the app with placeholder values (e.g., "$X,XXX.XX").

How to Enable​

  1. Open the Hiro app on iOS
  2. Go to Settings
  3. Toggle "Demo mode" ON
  4. You'll see a "DEMO MODE" pill at the top of the screen

What Gets Masked​

  • All dollar amounts across the entire app
  • Account balances
  • Transaction amounts
  • Net worth values
  • Any financial data in chat responses
